Everyone is unique, and so every lesson should be unique! Before we commit to beginning lessons together, I encourage every student to have a trial lesson (priced as below). In this lesson we will discuss our approach to your lessons to make sure you will be achieving what you would like to, whether this is to work towards an ABRSM exam or to simply play music for fun.
I teach piano and music theory lessons from my flat in Louth where I have an upright Yamaha piano. Sadly there are steps leading up to my front door so it isn't accessible for wheelchair users or those with mobility issues. If you are interested in having lessons in your home, I am open to discussing this.
During your trial lesson we will discuss my pupil agreement which outlines my cancellation policies, and sets out a payment plan (usually an invoice at the beginning of each month payable by bank transfer).
For the younger students especially, I encourage parents to take an active role in their child's musical journey - every child is different so I will work with you to ensure your child is getting the best possible experience, both during the lesson and at home.
I have an up to date DBS and have recently undertaken additional safeguarding training. I am GDPR compliant. I have public liability insurance through EPTA.

As well as integrating music theory into my piano tuition, I have taken multiple students learning other instruments through the ABRSM Grade 5 theory exam. If you are looking for a teacher who can help you through this key exam, please do get in touch.
