Everyone is unique, and so every lesson should be unique! Before we commit to beginning lessons together, I encourage every student to have a trial lesson (priced as below). In this lesson we will discuss our approach to your lessons to make sure you will be achieving what you would like to, whether this is to work towards an ABRSM exam or to simply play music for fun.
I teach piano and music theory lessons from my home in Withern where I have an upright Yamaha piano. Sadly there are steps leading up to my front door so it isn't accessible for wheelchair users. If you are interested in having lessons in your home, I am open to discussing this.
During your trial lesson we will discuss my pupil agreement which outlines my cancellation policies, gives details of my DBS and safeguarding training and sets out a payment plan (usually an invoice at the beginning of each month payable by bank transfer).
For the younger students especially, I encourage parents to take an active role in their child's musical journey, joining in the fun! I will provide resources/games that you can take home and do with your child throughout the week, and I encourage parents to take videos of anything at the end of the lesson in order to reinforce when at home. Every child is different, so I will work with you to ensure you and your child are getting the best possible experience.
30 mins - £20
45 mins - £28

As well as integrating music theory into my piano tuition, I have taken multiple students learning other instruments through the ABRSM Grade 5 theory exam. If you are looking for a teacher who can help you through this key exam, please do get in touch.
